Education is one issue that is all over the current news (both local and national), but it also affects each one of us directly- every single day. ReplyDeleteI think that education is one of the most important things that anyone can have. That's why I have worked so hard to finish my masters degree (I'm graduating Saturday!) The more I learn about educational systems, though, the more concerned I am becoming. I wonder why our students' reading levels are so low (and it's not just here- it's all over America). I also wonder why U.S. students used score #1 worldwide, but now we have been falling behind to years to countries like Finland, China, Japan, and South Korea. I hope to find some answers!
